Information Technology & Operations

Research and Development
The College Board's Research and Development team conducts research to support the appropriate use of our assessments, evaluates educational programs and services, and explores trends in education. The team gets involved in the following activities:
- Researching issues important to the educational community, and to our flagship programs, such as SAT and AP
- Ensuring validity and reliability of all research
- Evaluating new College Board programs, such as SpringBoard and College Board Schools
- Distributing research results in published reports and research notes, as well as through presentations at national educational conferences, including the AP Annual Conference and the Conference of the American Educational Research Association
- Data analysis and reporting

Field Sales & Service
Our Region & Account Services teams help educators get the most from our K-12 and higher education programs, services, and professional development offerings. A few important activities include the following:

- Serving students by helping clients achieve high levels of program and service growth and adoption
