The College Board is grateful to receive generous support that enables new and ongoing development of programs and services that benefit the education community throughout the country.

Recent Supporters

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is helping strengthen the education continuum by supporting the College Board Center for Innovation and Advocacy in Education which focuses on equity and access and ultimately degree completion in higher education. Gates has supported K-12 college-readiness and the development of the original CollegeEd program.

The National Science Foundation supports science education through the redesign of AP® science courses and has recently funded symposia on the future direction of AP Computer Science.

The Lumina Foundation supports College Board advocacy programs including Rethinking Student Aid and Community Colleges.

The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation has supported K-12 college-readiness and the development of the original CollegeEd program.

The James Irvine Foundation supports the training of California school counselors as college advocates and educational leaders.

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation supports science education by administering the Young Epidemiology Scholars Competition, providing college scholarships to high school students who submit outstanding research projects using epidemiological methods.

The Spencer Foundation has supported college access and affordability by enabling a major study synthesizing and analyzing existing research on the effectiveness of specific student aid policies and programs in increasing access to and success in higher education.

The Siemens Foundation supports STEM education by administering the Siemens Competition in Math, Science, and Technology and the Siemens Awards for Advanced Placement.
