While we encourage students to work with a variety of media and approaches to making art, the three AP portfolios are each intended to address a different set of issues. The reason for this is that the new portfolios more closely correspond to college courses in drawing, 3-D and 2-D design, respectively, and it makes it easier for colleges to grant appropriate credit for AP work. You must determine in which area you would like to place your focus and submit a single portfolio that represents these efforts.
