“Some of these syllabi begin with broad themes, and then combine some texts that one might not naturally put together…these unique approaches make me think about the ingenuity of AP teachers.”
                – Senior Faculty Reviewer, Bruce Plourde,
                 English Literature

What is the AP Course Audit?
Created at the request of secondary school and college members of the College Board, the AP Course Audit was designed to:
Provide teachers and administrators with clear guidelines on curricular and resource requirements that must be in place for AP courses; and
Give colleges and universities confidence that AP courses are designed to meet the same clearly articulated college-level criteria across high schools.
Approximately 130,000 AP teachers at more than 14,000 high schools wishing to label their courses “AP” have completed a rigorous review process conducted by over 800 select college and university faculty on behalf of the College Board.
