SPONSORS/EXHIBITS
The annual Advanced Placement National Conference (APNC) is the only national professional conference that targets the AP® community. The APNC's main purpose is to provide information and resources on the Advanced Placement Program® which serves as a cooperative educational endeavor between secondary schools, colleges, and universities. Counted among the AP community are more than 110,000 teachers who lead 34 AP courses in 19 subject areas in high schools across the United States and the world. In addition to middle school teachers of varying disciplines, nearly 60 percent of U.S. high schools participate in the AP Program at present.
In 2003, the AP National Conference drew almost 1,700 members from the AP and K-16 communities for four days of workshops, panel discussions, exhibits, and presentations. The 2004 APNC promises to be an even larger and more visible event, and we expect continued growth. This year's conference will be held at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, which will provide participants with perfect proximity to all Walt Disney World theme parks and attractions.
This year's expanded sponsorship and exhibitor packages will provide organizations with even greater opportunities to feature their products and services, to interact with key decision-makers from the K-16 communities, and to reinforce the visibility of their brands.
