Accent on Achievement

The Antonia Pantoja Preparatory Academy commits to providing our students with a nurturing and supportive environment that is conducive to personal growth and academic learning. Students are encouraged to become empathetic activists and leaders in their communities.

Mission

Our mission is to empower students with a purposeful education and the appropriate skills for an increasingly diverse, technological, and multilingual society. Our goal is to provide quality education and college preparation to support the development of fully multilingual and biliterate students through an integration of service learning experiences. We nurture the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth of students so that they can surpass academic standards, and become caring and socially conscious citizens who respect linguistic and cultural diversity. Students participate in programs designed to enhance their understanding of the real world in order to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, so that they may become productive members of society. This is achieved through a rigorous and challenging core curriculum, which emphasizes accelerated mathematics, science, and rigorous college preparatory instruction.

Core Values

We are committed to the development of a world citizenry whose core values are citizenship, scholarship, and integrity (CSI). These three values reflect our school community's commitment to our mission, grounded on the premise that our students will be future leaders who will influence their communities and the world at large.

Citizenship: We believe that students should engage in studying the world's cultural heritage through service learning opportunities, fostering a commitment to improve their local and global communities.

Scholarship: We commit to preparing our students for success in post-secondary education, and to become lifelong learners that strive to reach their maximum potential.

Integrity: We encourage students to be accountable for their actions, and be guided by the values of being truthful and ethical.
