The Academy for Social Action (ASA) Difference
The Academy for Social Action is structured to promote academic excellence that directly leads to college entrance and success. A strong emphasis is placed on ASA's three core values: Scholarship, Leadership, and Fellowship. These values are at the heart of our school culture and integrated throughout the curriculum to ensure a smooth transition for students from middle school through high school graduation. We take pride in constructing a healthy school environment, which nurtures character, empowers students and staff, and further develops all students into critical thinkers. We are a College Board School preparing tomorrow's leaders, today!
Mission
The mission of the ASA is to cultivate, educate, and graduate tomorrow's leaders while inspiring them to shape the many communities in which they reside. ASA students will become college-bound family and community leaders who are concerned for the rights and welfare of others, socially responsible, and confident in their capacity to make a difference. Our students will realize their innate potential and learn to capitalize on their strengths by understanding where they are now and focusing on their futures.
