Access & Diversity Collaborative
Enrollment Management and the Law
The Collaborative was created by the College Board—in the wake of U.S. Supreme Court decisions in the University of Michigan cases—to assist colleges and universities in developing and implementing their diversity-related policies. The Collaborative provides extensive training to higher education institutions, nationwide. In only 4 years, we have conducted 26 national seminars (attended by more than 1,500 representatives from nearly 4000 institutions and organizations); and published and widely distributed numerous guides that address key strategic planning and policy development issues.
New 2008–09 series of national seminars on legal and policy issues
The Collaborative is pleased to announce its 2008-09 series of national seminars that will address a comprehensive mix of legal, policy, communications and advocacy issues associated with institutional efforts to achieve access and diversity goals.
The Collaborative will sponsor Leading Institutional Change—a seminar series designed to address major policy and research trends, effective communications strategies, and key institutional policy management issues; and Knowing the Basics—a seminar series designed to address legal and policy fundamentals.
Further information can be found on the seminars page.
The Education Policy Team of EducationCounsel LLC, led by former U.S. Department of Education officials, provides core legal and policy services in support of our efforts in national seminars and through written guidance for higher education institutions.
