The College Board is hosting a two-day, solutions driven conference devoted to bringing together educational and community leaders to discuss and explore models of excellence that address the most critical educational issues that directly impact African American students.

Join us as we celebrate the life and legacy of the late Dr. Asa Hilliard III, as well as hear from scheduled keynote presenters Dr. Darnell Hunt, director of the Ralph J. Bunche Center for African American Studies at UCLA, and Dr. Noma LeMoine, director of the Academic English Mastery Program and Closing the Achievement Gap Branch of the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Special guest panelists and presenters include Richard Bayer, dean of enrollment services, University of Tennessee; David L. Brewer III, superintendent, Los Angeles Unified School District; Lynette Danley, assistant professor, Department of Educational Leadership and Policy and Ethnic Studies Program, University of Utah; Olivia Ifill-Lynch, director of practice, Education Trust–West; Thomas J. Milligan, vice chancellor of communications, University of Tennessee; Horace Mitchell, president, California State University, Bakersfield; Peter Negroni, senior vice president, College Board; Michael T. Nettles, senior vice president, and Edmund W.
