| Community College Grant Program - TAACCCT |
 |
|
The U.S. Department of Labor recently announced the Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training Grants Program, which will award two-year institutions $2 billion to serve displaced workers through education and career training programs. With time-tested and relevant tools and resources, the College Board is prepared to support your efforts as you complete the grant application and work to enhance individual learning and college success rates.
We have reviewed the priorities of the grant and outlined ways you might consider ACCUPLACER and other programs, such as CLEP, to serve your students.
We stand ready to help your institution compete for grant funds. Please contact us at ccgrants@collegeboard.org for more information.

| Coming Soon: Enhancements to the ACCUPLACER Platform |
 |
ACCUPLACER will be enhancing several key platform features and assessments in the coming months.
Among them are:
- The U.S. Department of Education recently updated the policies governing the Ability to Benefit (ATB) program. We will provide details in the coming months about how this affects your ACCUPLACER ATB testing. If you administer ATB tests, plan to attend our training session at the ACCUPLACER National Conference or sign up now for a WebEx training session to become a certified ATB proctor.
- In early April, WritePlacer® automated scoring will be updated as part of our ongoing process of monitoring and continuing to provide the most reliable and accurate essay scoring possible. This update will be based on thousands of additional essays written by WritePlacer test takers.
- Later this spring, the ACCUPLACER platform's semiannual update will feature improvements and upgrades to the system. These ongoing system upgrades are meant to maintain and expand the platform's quality and reliability with minimal impact on your day-to-day testing activity. Check the next ACCUGRAM in May for more information.
