Listed below are the available Executive Summary Reports found on the Executive Summary Reports page:

 Overview Reports

  • 01 - Summary of All Segments - Summary of current high school seniors who requested official SAT scores be sent to your institution, organized by all segments reported in EPS.  Change since the prior year is shown on the right.
  • 02 - Performance Summary - Summary of current high school seniors who requested official SAT scores be sent to your institution, organized by all segments reported in EPS.
  • 03 - Summary of Growing and Shrinking Segments - Summary of current high school seniors who requested official SAT scores be sent to your institution, categorized by some of the key segments used in EPS: gender; mobility; ethnic background; and first choice curriculum.  The list is ordered according to volume/percentage change since the prior year.  The bars along the top and bottom of the page indicate percentage and volume change, respectively.
  • 04 - Summary by Intended Major - Volume - On the left, the summary of current high school seniors who requested official SAT scores be sent to your institution, by first-choice major, and listed by your volume.  On the right, the blue bar represents 100% of your SAT takers in each major.  The bar indicates the proportion of students who are male and female.  Top 10 majors by volume are boldfaced.
  • 05 - Summary by Intended Major - SAT Scores - On the left, the summary of current high school seniors who requested official SAT scores be sent to your institution, by first-choice major and listed by average SAT V+M scores.  On the right, the blue bar represents 100% of your SAT takers interested in each major.  The bar indicates the proportion of students who are non-white and white.  Top 10 majors by volume are boldfaced.
  • 06 - Summary by Ethnic Distribution - Summary of the current high school seniors who requested official SAT scores be sent to your institution, organized by ethnic background.
  • 07 - Distribution of Class Rank by Ethnicity - Distribution by percentage of current high school seniors who requested official SAT scores be sent to your institution, organized by ethnic background, then by high school class rank.
  • 18 - Subject Test Takers - Summary - The summary of high school students who took SAT Subject Tests and requested official SAT scores be sent to your institution. Change since the prior year is shown under Chg column(s). The top 10 intended majors for your institution are shown in blue.

  • 19 - Subject Test takers - Detail - The summary of high school students who requested official SAT Subject Test scores be sent to your institution, organized by all segments reported in EPS.

Competition Reports

  • 08 - Competition by Overlap Takers - The colleges with which you have the largest number of current SAT score senders in common are listed in order by the size of the overlap.  Each of your competitor’s total number of score senders are also included.  Boldfaced institutions are your top ten competitors in terms of overlap.
  • 09 - Competition by Total Volume of SAT Takers - The colleges with which you have the largest number or current SAT score senders in common are listed in order by the competitor’s total number of SAT takers.  Your overlap with each is also included.  Boldfaced institutions are your top ten competitors in terms of overlap.
  • 10 - Competition by Average SAT V+M Score of Overlap - The colleges with which you have the largest number of current SAT score senders in common, listed in order by the average SAT V+M score of the overlap students.  Boldfaced institutions are your top ten competitors in terms of overlap.
  • 11 - Competition by Non-White Overlap - The colleges with which you have the largest number of current SAT score senders in common, listed in order by the average SAT V+M score of the overlap students.  Boldfaced institutions are your top ten competitors in terms of overlap.
  • 12 - Competition by Family Income of Overlap - The colleges with which you have the largest number of current SAT score senders in common, listed in order by self-reported average family income of the overlap SAT takers.  Boldfaced institutions are your top ten competitors in terms of overlap.
  • 13 - Competition by Female Overlap - The colleges with which you have the largest number of current SAT score senders in common, listed in order by the percentage of the overlap SAT takers who are female. Boldfaced institutions are your top ten competitors in terms of overlap.
  • 14 - Competition by Aspirations of Overlap - The colleges with which you have the largest number of current SAT score senders in common, listed in order by the percentage of the overlap who aspire to a level of education beyond a bachelor’s degree.  Boldfaced institutions are your top ten competitors in terms of overlap.
  • 15 - Competition by H.S. Class Rank of Overlap - The colleges with which you have the largest number of current SAT score senders in common, listed in order by the percentage of the overlap who reported being in the top tenth of their high school class.  Boldfaced institutions are your top ten competitors in terms of overlap.
  • 16 - Competition: Largest Geomarkets of your Top Competitors - Your top ten geomarkets and the top ten geomarkets of each of the nine colleges with which you have the largest number of SAT Takers in common.   Geomarkets in your competitor's top ten that are not in your top ten are highlighted.
  • 17 - Competition: Your Top Competitors within your Top Geomarkets - Your top ten EPS geomarkets and, within each geomarket, the colleges with which you have the largest number of SAT takers from the current year in common.  You and your competitors are listed in each of the EPS geomarkets by total volume of SAT takers.  Your competitors' SAT taker volume and your SAT taker overlap for the current and previous years are also included.

Top Geomarkets Reports

  • 20 - Top Geomarkets - Summary - Summary information of your top 25 geomarkets, based on number of SAT takers.
  • 21 - Top Geomarkets - Details - Each geomarket report consists of three pages.  The state, market number and market name is provided on each page.  
    • The first page provides general information about all SAT takers in the core geomarket and about SAT takers who sent scores to your institution. 
    • The second page provides information about all SAT takers in the core geomarket and SAT takers who sent scores to your institution, organized by intended major.
    • The third page displays vital statistics about the Geomarket on the right side of the page.  The three listson the left contain information about your competition and your feeder high schools. 

Top Feeder High Schools Reports

  • 30 - Top 50 Feeder High Schools - Summary – These two pages show high schools listed in order by the number of seniors who sent you SAT scores this year.  Your share of this year's total senior SAT takers is also included.
  • 32 - Top 25 Feeder High Schools - Detail - The top 25 high schools from which you received the largest number of SAT I scores this year are presented in detail, starting with your top feeder high school.
