IACET CEUs

The College Board is an authorized Continuing Education Unit (CEU) provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). *

All main conference sessions as well as pre and postconference workshops are CEU eligible sessions. Please note that plenary sessions and social events are not CEU eligible.

To guarantee proper credit is received for attending main conference sessions and Pre and Postconference workshops, please adhere to the following guidelines:

For Main Conference:

  • A College Board representative will be at every main conference session to confirm your attendance. At the session's conclusion, the CB representative will attach a College Board sticker in the box listing the appropriate time slot. In the case that a College Board representative is not present in your session, you must ask the presenter to sign the CEU Certification card in the appropriate box.
  • Please make sure that you protect your CEU Certification card and bring it with you to all sessions you are planning to attend. CEU Certification cards must be completely filled out before receiving a College Board sticker. Because of stringent guidelines set by IACET, College Board representatives are not permitted to hand over stickers to attendees that do not present a completed CEU Certification card.
  • Participants must attend the entire session to receive a CEU sticker. If you arrive after or leave before the posted time for a session, you will be considered late. Latecomers and those leaving sessions early will NOT receive a CEU sticker. Please allow at least 10 minutes for travel between sessions.
  • At the conclusion of the conference, attendees must turn in their completed CEU Certification card with a completed evaluation form to the IACET CEU table, CEU Certification cards will not be accepted without a completed evaluation form. You will find your evaluation form in your conference bag.
  • Completed CEU Certification cards may also be mailed along with a completed evaluation form to: AP Annual Conference, College Board, 45 Columbus Avenue, New York, NY 10023. Mailed forms must be postmarked by Tuesday, August 5, 2008 to be eligible for processing.

For Pre and Postconference:

  • Attendees who have pre-registered for the workshops must sign the attendance sheet and will receive their CEU certificates at the end of the workshop. Please note, you will not receive your certificate until you have completed and submitted an evaluation form. Evaluation forms will be handed out towards the end of the workshop.
  • Space permitting, on-site registrants will be accepted into workshops. However, certificates will be mailed to on-site registrants after the conference.
  • Participants must attend the entire workshop to receive their CEU certificates. If you arrive after or leave before the posted time for a session, you will be considered late. Latecomers and those leaving early will NOT receive their certificates.
