The AP Annual Conference is the largest professional development gathering of the Advanced Placement Program® and Pre-AP® communities, AP Coordinators, school counselors, and administrators from across the United States and throughout the world. This year's conference promises to engage, inspire, and promote innovation in our schools.

Registration, Exhibit Hall, and Art Exhibition Open

Wednesday, July 14
Evening

Conference registration and the exhibit hall open this evening. The opening reception for the 2010 AP Studio Art exhibition also occurs this evening. No workshops or sessions are scheduled for this day.

Exhibit hall participants display the latest products and technologies available in education today.

Preconference

Thursday, July 15
AP Workshops: 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Opening Plenary & Reception: 5 p.m.

Recommended for: new and experienced AP teachers and AP Coordinators

College Board-endorsed consultants lead one-day Advanced Placement® workshops.

The conference's opening plenary session is followed by a welcome reception.

Main Conference

Friday, July 16 - Saturday, July 17

Concurrent sessions provide curriculum information, helpful resources, and best practices.

Plenary sessions are offered by notable speakers.

Check back after February 2010 for main conference session offerings and descriptions.

Postconference

Sunday, July 18 8:30 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Recommended for: middle school and AP teachers, and administrators
