Equity and Access

We are pleased to announce that AP Annual Conference 2010 will feature six main conference sessions offering strategies as well as instructional and administrative practices that educators can use to expand access and increase equity in their AP Programs. Specific topics will include:

• Preparing, recruiting and retaining traditionally underrepresented students in AP courses
• Building equitable and effective AP programs in both large, urban districts and small, rural schools
• Using successful, creative methods to support all students enrolled in AP courses
• Ensuring open access to AP is effective for all students
