Forum 2006

The theme of Forum 2006 was: A Compelling Case for Education. During the conference, over 2200 of the nation's leading educators sought to build a national imperative to ensure all students have access to higher education and are prepared for the challenges of the 21st Century. The conference featured:

About the Forum

The College Board's Forum is an annual gathering of education professionals from across many areas of responsibility, from counselors, teachers, and superintendents, to presidents, provosts, and admissions and financial aid officers. Attendees come from high schools, colleges, and universities across the nation and globe. Annual Meeting of the Members

The Annual Meeting offered attendees an opportunity to hear the College Board Chair's official report, the Committee on Finance report, the Committee on Membership report and the election of new members, the Committee on Nominations report with the election of new officers and trustees, reports of the National Assemblies, and an address from President Gaston Caperton. The meeting also served as a venue for member delegates to speak directly to the elected and appointed leadership across all educational professions and have an impact on the upcoming educational agenda.
