College Board Privacy and Security: Online and Offline

Be Smart, Be Secure

As a not-for-profit educational association, the College Board is concerned with maintaining the privacy and security for all personal information of our students, parents, and educators. We use industry standard methods to secure and protect your confidential information.

Safety and Security Tips

  1. Be wary of unsolicited contacts, whether via telephone or email.
  2. The College Board will never contact you to ask for your credit card, bank account, or password information over the telephone or through email.
  3. Never supply credit card information to someone who calls you.
  4. If you suspect you have received a fraudulent call or email, contact your local authorities and provide them with all the details.
  5. If an offer appears too good to be true, it probably is.
