Fee Waivers
Fee waivers are available to high school juniors and seniors who cannot afford SAT Program test fees.
Fee waivers cover the basic testing fee for the SAT Reasoning Test or SAT Subject Tests, as well as the fee for either the Question-and-Answer Service (QAS) or the Student Answer Service (SAS) for the SAT Reasoning Test. You must apply for a fee waiver through your school counselor.
Registrations with fee waivers must be submitted by the regular registration deadline. Fee waivers cannot be used for late registrations, except for the October test. Fee waivers cannot be used for standby registrations.
When registering online, enter your fee waiver identification number (the number on your fee waiver card) and your school's six-digit code. The fee waiver identification number can only be used once.
If You Don’t Have Your Fee Waiver Number
If you have received a fee waiver from your school but do not have your fee waiver identification number now, you cannot complete your registration online. To register online with a fee waiver, you must have your identification number.
