Choosing Your Test Center
When you register, you can select the test center at which you want to test.
If you wish to test at a center not listed when you register, you can do a Test Center Search by selecting "More Test Centers."
Test Center Assignment
Sometimes test centers may be full, which is why we ask that you select a second-choice test center in addition to your first choice.
If your first- and second-choice test centers are unavailable, you will be notified of a test center change by email, and you can verify your test center by viewing your My SAT page or when you view your Admission Ticket.
If you do not choose a test center, we will choose one for you based on availability of test centers near you. If your first- and second-choice test centers are full, you will be notified of a test center change by email, and you can verify your test center by viewing your My SAT page or when you view your Admission Ticket.
If your high school is a test center and it's offering your test on your test date, you can choose to test at your high school. If your high school isn't already listed on the page as your first- or second-choice test center, use the "change" or "add" link to find and select it.
If your high school is already full or is not administering the test, you will be asked to select another test center at which you want to test.
