Send Scores

In addition to registering for the SAT, you can also select up to eight score recipients (such as colleges or universities). The first four score recipients are included with your registration fee, and the remaining four can be added for an additional fee.

All available scores will be sent, including those from previous test administrations. We send a cumulative report of all scores that are available and reportable at the time your request is received. You cannot send only your latest or highest SAT scores, or separate scores for critical reading, mathematics, or writing sections, or only SAT, or only Subject Test scores.

Only score reports from completed and scored tests will be sent to the colleges and scholarship programs you select. Scores from future tests for which you registered, but have not yet completed, will not be included. Check your My SAT page to see which scores are available to send.

Finding Score Recipients

You can search by institution name, by city, by state, by country, or by institution code. Choose the score recipient from the list of search results. When you select a score recipient, it will automatically be added to the list of score recipients (listed below under "My Score Recipients").

Removing a Score Recipient

To remove a score recipient from your list, highlight the score recipient and click “Remove.”

If You Cannot Find a Score Recipient

If you have trouble finding the colleges, universities, or scholarship programs to which you wish to send scores, be sure to enter the full name of the college or scholarship program.

Some tips:

- Don’t use nicknames, such as St. Mike's

- Don’t use abbreviations, such as UCLA

- Try searching by state

Sending More than Eight Score Reports

You may send additional reports after this registration is complete by going to the "My SAT" page and selecting "Send Scores." You can do this at any time after you register.
