Scholarship Awards
College scholarships are awarded to all students attending the regional and national events.

| Finalists | $1,000 and a bronze medal | $1,000 and a bronze medal for each team member |
| Winners | $3,000 and a silver medal | $6,000 divided equally among team members and a silver medal for each member |
The high school that each regional finalist attends receives a $2,000 award, per research project. The award must be used to support science, mathematics, and technology programs in the schools.
The winners of the individual and team regional awards move on to compete at the national level.

The national awards are announced at a special event hosted by the Siemens Foundation in New York City.
Scholarship award money is sent directly to the accredited undergraduate or graduate institution college or university the winning students select. In order to continue receiving the scholarship, students must be enrolled full-time and making satisfactory academic progress toward a degree.
Your scholarship can be used for:- Tuition and fees required for enrollment
- Fees, books, supplies, and equipment required for all courses of instruction at the school that are required for graduation
- On-campus room and board
- Costs associated with your participation in scientific or mathematical research (only) at the institution in which you are enrolled, within, or beyond your regular courses of curriculum
