Create an Order

Modify, Delete or Cancel an Order

To Modify an Order

You may Modify an order at any time, while the order is in one of the following states:  “N” (New), “C” (Complete), “S” (Submitted), “P” (Processed), or “M” (Modified). To modify an order, simply change any criteria item. Once the change is made, a pop-up warning message will appear which requires acknowledgement. Once the order is in a modified state, it must be resubmitted by going to the Submit Order page and selecting the Submit button. Otherwise, the order will remain in a pending status (no action will be taken) until it is resubmitted.

To Delete an Order

You may Delete an order at any time, if the order is in one of the following states:  “N” (New), “C” (Complete), “S” (Submitted), “P” (Processed), or “M” (Modified). To delete an order, simply select the order on the My Orders page by clicking the circle in the Select column. Then, above the column headers, where it says “Select an order then choose an action,” click on the underlined word, “Delete.” IMPORTANT NOTE: Once an order is deleted, it is entirely deleted and cannot be resurrected.

To Cancel an Order

An order may be cancelled by one of the following methods:

  • Select the order on the My Orders page and Delete it.
  • If the order is in a locked status – “F”( Standing) or “L”( Locked) – the order cannot be deleted. Please contact Search Customer Service for assistance at 1-800-626-9795 or email SearchCustomerService@CollegeBoard.com.
