France
Students who graduate from a secondary school in the United States or a secondary school that is accredited by a U.S. accrediting organization elsewhere in the world are eligible for consideration for admission to French universities or preparatory programs for the "grandes écoles" (classes préparatoires aux grandes écoles, or CPGE) with their diploma or a GED certificate. However, there are currently a very limited number of programs in English at higher education institutions in France. Therefore, applicants must pass a test in written and oral French. For information on the study programs available and French language tests , U.S.-based students should contact CampusFrance. Students in the U.S. wishing to enroll in a higher education program in France should contact CampusFrance or the Cultural Services of the French Embassy. Be aware that the deadline for applications is usually January 31.
