My SAT Online Score Report

The Next Step Is For You to Know Yourself

When you get your SAT scores, we want to make sure you really get your SAT score. We want you to understand the meaning behind the numbers. That's why at the College Board we are always working to improve our tools and resources to help students with their test taking and college planning. My SAT Online Score Report gives you a wealth of personalized, practical information about your SAT results, helping you to:

  • Understand specifics about how the test is structured and scored, including the writing section and the essay.
  • Get detailed insights into how you performed on each section of the test, including responses by question type and difficulty.
  • See how your scores compare to the scores of students in your school, state, and nationally.
  • Search for the right colleges, majors and careers based on your scores.
  • Improve your scores on a future test through targeted preparation.

My SAT Online Score Report is available free to all students who take the SAT, whether you registered online or by mail; all you need is an online College Board account. To access the report:

  1. Log into or create a free account at collegeboard.com with a self-selected username and password
  2. Click on My SAT. This shows the upcoming tests for which you are registered (or registrations that are in progress), plus scores from all previous SATs taken.
  3. Next to the relevant test date,* click on My SAT Online Score Report.
