Admission Ticket/Correction Form
Your Admission Ticket confirms that you are registered to take a test on a specified date, at a specified test center. You will need to bring the ticket with you to the test center for admittance.
You will receive an Admission Ticket/Correction Form by mail ONLY if you registered by paper (see dates below).
When you register online, you need to print out your online Admission Ticket and bring it with you to the test center on test day.
Getting or Correcting Your Admission Ticket Online
No matter how you register to take the test, you can go online and print out your ticket and/or make corrections online:
- Sign in to your personal [an error occurred while processing this directive]My SAT page. If you haven't already created a collegeboard.com user name and password, do so now.
- Click the "Print/Update Admission Ticket" link. If you registered by mail, you will need your registration number to access your ticket online.
- Print your ticket or update your ticket's information as necessary.
When you receive your Admission Ticket, check to make sure that all information is correct-especially your name, address, and high school. You can make most corrections online, even if you registered by mail. You can also add, change, or delete the college and scholarship program codes you designated to receive your scores. Contact Customer Service for corrections to your name.
Using the Mailed Correction Form
If you registered by mail, you will receive your Correction Form by mail, attached to the Admission Ticket. You can make changes on the Correction Form instead of online if you choose, but be sure to return it by mail before the test date or hand it in to the test supervisor on test day. Also, hold on to your Admission Ticket—you'll need it to be admitted to the test center!
