Testing Closer to Home
If you live more than 75 miles (121 kilometers) from the nearest test center, you may be able to test closer to your home. You must submit a letter of explanation with your registration, which means you must register by mail using the paper registration form. Online registration and telephone re-registration are not available if you are requesting to test closer to home.
To request testing closer to your home, enter the number 02000 as your first choice for test center on the Registration Form, and leave the second choice blank. Mail the form, a letter describing your situation, and the proper fees no later than the postmark deadline date for regular registration (for international students, we need to receive the materials by the early registration deadline date). Refer to the test date calendar for deadline dates.
Note: We cannot process requests to test closer to home for the October or June test dates. Testing closer to home is not an option offered in India or Pakistan.
