Admission Ticket

Once you have registered for the SAT Reasoning Test or Subject Tests, you will be issued an Admission Ticket, either online or by paper. Even if you registered by mail, your Admission Ticket is available to you online.

Getting Your Admission Ticket

No matter how you register to take the test, you can go online and print out your ticket and/or make corrections online:

  1. Sign in to My SAT. If you haven't already created a collegeboard.com user name and password, do so now.
  2. Click "Print Admission Ticket".
  3. Update your ticket's information as necessary.
  4. Print your Admission Ticket.

Note: Students who register online will not receive an Admission Ticket/Correction Form by mail.

If You Do not Have an Admission Ticket

If you registered by paper and your ticket has not arrived two weeks before the test date, call Customer Service to ask for your registration number, which will allow you to print a Web ticket.

If you still do not have an Admission Ticket for test day, report to the test center with proper photo identification. You can take the test if your name appears on the roster at the test center and if it matches your ID. If your name does not appear on the roster, you may be able to test as a standby if space, materials, and staff are available. If your name on your ID does not match your name on the roster, you may not be admitted to the test center or, if you do test, your scores may be canceled.

  • If you are able to test as a standby and can verify afterward that you we registered, you may request a refund for any additional fees paid.
  • If you are not able to test and can verify afterward that you were registered, you may request a free transfer to another test date or a full refund.
