Formatting Requirements

You must follow all formatting requirements to ensure that your entry qualifies for the YES Competition. These formatting requirements apply to all sections of the project.

Research Reports must adhere to the following specifications:

Uploaded as a Microsoft Word document.
Maximum of 18 MB and 30 pages, including figures, graphics, tables, title page, acknowledgements, abstract, appendices, and references. There is no required word count.
1-inch margins on all sides
Double-spaced text
Formatted to print on single-sided 8 ½ x 11 inch paper
12-point type, Arial font for all pages including, title page, acknowledgements, abstract, and references
Place captions below pictures and graphs. Use 10-point type, Arial font and single spacing for captions.
Number all pages in the lower right-hand corner, beginning with the title page.
